[~deep trawling the tumbling waters of flickr~]
In Flickr’s gargantuan vat lies this viscous soup made of myriads of images. Nothing wrong with that. But it becomes hard to distinguish the trees because of how thick the forest is. Editing is nothing but selecting some of the trees and replanting [actually in this case, a clone, since we are ONLY linking to the original] them somewhere where they will get more light. Where, we can always hope, they will thrive. More so, they will bring attention to their “gardeners-photographers”. The single tree you will look at here is symbolic, representative, of the vision a specific photographer is endowed with. Please go back to Flickr to see more of the work of the photographer your eyes fancied.
This is MY personal choice. So it is partial and therefore NOT representative of all the talent found on Flickr. Granted.
About this site? A compilation of images found on Flickr. We are no longer on the cusp of a new world. We are in the thick of it. Is your seatbelt fastened? The conspirational relationship between Photography and the Internet is a made in Heaven symbiosis, it allows a radical transformation on how photographers are sharing their work. The whole world has now become a gallery opened 24 hours a day/7 days a week. In the “hyper~vault” of Flickr, photographers have deposited their precious ware for the world to see. And I have descended in the depths of Flickr to bring back what I thought were some gems, doing so I have tried to gather the essence of a revolutionary phenomenon. And here the selected images are presented for your viewing pleasure. The photos are directly linked to their original posting in Flickr, so you can instantly see more of the work by the photographer showcased in a particular post. Time for a feast for the eye and the heart.
Our gratitude is given to all the dedicated photographers who, with great passion, share with us what they were aiming at through the viewfinder of their camera. A glance at their gaze.
Should you have a favorite photographer on Flickr, please let us know.
Want us to look at your very own work? We’ll be pleased to oblige.

I have this site as an RSS feed and am enriched by daily “walks” through wonderful photographers’ photostreams. This site is a dream for amateur photographers like myself who learn by looking at others’ visions.
